Description
Reserve half of an Idaho Pasture Pig to be custom processed to your specifications. Once you place your deposit, we will reach out to you as soon as we know the exact date we are dropping the hog off. Once processed, the butcher will call us with the hanging weight and we will contact you with the final amount due. Then when you pick up your meat from the butcher, you will pay them their fees.
$4.50 / lb hanging weight + butcher fees
Hanging weight for half a hog should range from 90- 110 lbs. Depending on what cuts you order, butcher fees can range from $100 – $200. Half of a hog will take up 2.5 – 3.5 cubic feet of freezer space.
Our pigs are born and raised on pasture right here at Fumduk Farm. They do not receive vaccines or antibiotics, and are fed a local non-GMO feed in addition to eggs from our birds and garden treats. More about how we raise our pigs here.
